You've read the Word - Now what will you do?
Many people take an academic approach to the Word of God.
What does someone do when preparing to be an engineer?
They Qualify for Hebrews 10:25 - They go to class
They doesn’t forsake the assembling together with other people who want to become engineers.
They Qualify for 2 Timothy 2:15 - They Study to show themselves approved
They study’s math & physics – maybe even coding – and they do it 8 + hours a day
They Qualify for Mark 16:15 - They tell everyone who will listen
Go into all the world and preach science to him that believes
They Qualify for Mark 16:18 - They lay hands on equipment
They fixed broken things - and speak multiple languages
They Qualify for Proverbs 28:27 - They used there skills to help those in need
They drill wells for fresh water
What does a Christian do once they have been born again?
Hebrews 10:25 - They go to church on Sunday
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
2 Timothy 2:15 - They read the bible every day
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Mark 16:15 - They go into all the world, and preach
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Mark 16:17-18 - They lay hands on the sick
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Proverbs 28:27 - They give to the poor
Whoever gives to the poor will not be in need...
