The Servant of the Believer

Luke 17:7-10

But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?

And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me,

till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?

Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.

Did you know that you can use your faith for everything?

What does everything include? Light bulbs, money, killing giants, drying firewood, fishing, walking on water...

Proverbs 8:12

I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.

Deuteronomy 8:18 - its God that gives thee the power to get wealth

But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God; for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth,

that He may establish His covenant which He swore unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

Proverbs 18:22 - If you are single, get this favor - if married, use it

He who finds a wife, finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord.

Matthew 14:29

And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

1 Samuel 17:46 - Speaking the desired end result

This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee;

and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air,

and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.

Mark 11:14 - Drying firewood

14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.

Genesis 1:26 - Fishing

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Everything you set your hand to is successful

Psalm 1:1-3

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

As you read psalm 1:3 - look at verses one and two again.

The requirements for not having your leaf whither include:

* Not walking in the counsel of the ungodly

* Not acting like a sinner

* Not taking on the role of a scorner

* Meditating on the Word day an night

**What does meditating on the Word mean?

  • You run the scripture through your mind over and over.
  • You picture what it says
  • You see yourself the way God is describing you in the scripture
  • This puts Proverbs 23:7 into action - For as he thinketh in this heart, so is he.

You then take this to the next level and speak it - putting the Mark 11:23 principle into action.

  • I don't walk in the counsel of the ungodly
  • I don't stand in the way of sinners
  • I don't sit in the seat of the scornful
  • I delight in the law of the Lord
  • I meditate on his law it day and night

Most of God's kingdom is not passive - you must openly and continually declare the Word out loud over your natural circumstances in order to apply supernatural power over them.

What does confess mean?

To confess means to come into agreement with

Every day that goes by

and even multiple times a day - confess:

My leaf doesn't whither, and whatsoever I do prospers
