The Inspiration

I used to go running a park that had a path between a double lake and a river. Once in a while you would see a boat traveling down the water and I was visualizing sticking my thumb out for a ride, but ideas change once you get into the 3D design - but you can still share the ideas.

At one time I had the idea of putting a paddle wheel on the canals of eastern Washington - I had not considered that most of the water ways are slowing moving - except the water flows down a significant hill. So alas, if we can't have a paddle wheel to generate electricity, we might as well make it into a park & ride. Although I suppose Joe & Fred should put a motor on the boat as I didn't give them an oar or a gondola pole.
