I have a vision of one day where a firewood custom runs out of wood, drives to the wood yard after hours, puts in their credit card, hits the button, and behold they have an instant load of wood. A few things would have to happen. The correct kind of wood they were looking for would have been preloaded into the automatic firewood loader, the truck / trailer they were using is built tough so that it can handle wood dropping, and all safety checks were put into place. That may end up being a good method in the future but with an attendant during wood hours, the automatic firewood loader would work as well (although the toughness of the vehicle would still come into play).
