Love
John 15:8 - "To bear fruit" is an idiom that means to produce successful results, especially after putting in a lot of effort. Its something that is shown and that you are partake in or provide benefit from.
There are 9 fruits of Spirit that we should exhibit in our lives on a daily basis
Galatians 5:22-23
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
1 Corinthians 13:1-5
Sounding brass is an unpleasant sound - no benefit to others
13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
Operating in the Gifts of the Spirit, wisdom, knowledge - Still no profit
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
Benevolence & physical sacrifice - still doesn't make the grade
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
Love has a long - long fuse, and doesn't hang out with unsightly characters
4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
Love is not out for its own good
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
1 Corinthians 13:6-10
Love never rejoices in sin
6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
Love carries the weight of & supports
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
Love never fails - everything else ceases, fails, or vanishes away
8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
We don't yet have the whole picture
9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
Knowing in part is not permanent
10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
1 Corinthians 13:11-13
We grow out of childish things - but we still need to believe like a child does
11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

Faith is awesome, hope is necessary, but love is greater than both
13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
1 John 4:8 - Love is a characteristic of those who know God
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
Ephesians 5:1-2 -
Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
