You beyond a thousand dreams
with beauty like the sky
A group of stars not far from heaven
now shine within your eyes

the strength that draws me

The Back Story
Many years ago, I had attended a party for the 4th of July in a downtown top office of a Seattle building. This was not my normal cup of tea, I'm not really a party person, I'm not into staying up all night, I'd rather be doing something science based even though time with friends is a good thing. Somewhere in that evening I caught just a glimpse of a woman that I never made contact with, but she made a powerful impact on me. When I was just starting my long drive home out of the city in the morning, this poem was downloaded into my brain all at once.
