I'm meant for loving you
I'm about to invoke a relationship
one I'm not sure where will go
but I know how I feel inside
and this one thing I must show
To give again, to live again
to set my life afire
to love and touch another's heart
stirs within me great desire
A fountain of uncertainty
from which we both must drink
separate the taste is bland
but together, oh so sweet
The Back Story
The story behind this poem is much less inspiring than others - so I won't go into detail. However, in this case I felt the words carried enough weight to be worth sharing. You start off with high hopes - not being total sure even though the desire is there. As time moves forward, your life before seems like it was in black and white, and before bland, but together - oh so sweet.
